Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 27, 2026
Expira Mail is a disposable email service designed to generate short-lived inboxes for temporary use. Inbox reads require a mailbox access token that is created with the mailbox and kept in your browser session. Knowing an email address alone does not provide access to its inbox.
What We Collect
We may process the email address that is generated for you, messages received by that address, basic device and browser information, IP address, request logs, and service usage events needed to operate, secure, and improve the platform.
How We Use Information
- To create and maintain temporary inboxes.
- To receive, display, and expire incoming email messages.
- To detect abuse, spam, automation, fraud, and service misuse.
- To monitor uptime, reliability, and performance of the platform.
- To comply with legal obligations and respond to valid requests from authorities.
Temporary Storage
Inboxes and messages are stored for a limited time only. Expired inboxes and their contents are intended to be automatically deleted. Service maintenance, restarts, or operational events may end an inbox sooner, so you should not rely on the service for permanent storage, backups, or confidential communications.
Mailbox Access and Confidentiality
Keep your browser session and mailbox access token private. Anyone who obtains that token, uses the same browser session, or gains access to your device may be able to read the active inbox. Do not use the service to receive sensitive personal data, financial records, medical information, passwords, or other confidential material.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We may use cookies, browser session storage, security protections, and similar technologies to keep the site working, enforce abuse controls, and measure aggregate usage. Third-party infrastructure providers such as CDN, hosting, or analytics/security services may also set technical identifiers.
Third-Party Services
The service may rely on third-party providers for hosting, DNS, content delivery, anti-abuse protection, logging, and advertising. Those providers may process technical information in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the service, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. You use the platform at your own risk and should avoid sending or receiving information that would require strong confidentiality guarantees.
Children
The service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly design it for use by children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the service, contact us and we will review the request.
Your Choices
Because inboxes are temporary and generally not account-based, traditional account controls may not apply. Your main choice is whether to use the service at all and what information you choose to receive through it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The version published on this page is the version that applies at the time of use.
